  Special music celebration for Claremont, NH town, includes variety of music, speechs, fun and time travel. Pianist Virginia Eskin will perform the Claremont Grand March, by Addison P Wyman. It was written for the citizens of Claremont in 1868, and was first played at the reopening of the old town hall in 1869, then played at the dedication of the new building in 1897.

  Join us at the Tillotson Center to hear pianist Virginia Eskin an adjunct professor of music at Keene State College, which in 2009 awarded her an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters in recognition of her contributions to women's music. Ms Eskin has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, in concert halls and museums throughout the United States and Europe. Listen to a mixture of classical works, ragtime, jazz and works of Amy Beach.
